Cake pop

This is a popular and easy to make dessert to bring to a party or as treat during holiday.

It is easy to make. I made it using the cake pop mold. For the cake recipe, please refer to roll cake or muffin post.

After the cake is baked, cool it down. Melt the chocolate chips in the microware. Dip the lollipop stick into the melt choclate and press it into the center of each cake ball. Repeat till all cake balls are done.Let it cool for a while so that  the cake can stick to the stick.

After that, dip the cake ball into the melting chocolate and coat it evenly. Repeat until finished. Let it cool down if you would like to decorate with other color of candy melt. Or else sprinkle it with color sprinkle.

Homemade Chilli paste

Ingredients:

1 small packet of dry chillies

3-4 stalks of lemon grass

Methods:

In a large bowl, cut the chillies into half and soak into hot water until soft. Drain the seed and water together.

Transfer the chillies into a blender. Meanwhile, wash the lemon grass and cut into small pieces. Put them into the blender as well.

In the blender, put some waterin and start the power.

Blend until it looks smooth.

In a sauce pan, put 3 tablespoons of oil. When it is heated, transfer the chillies paste and stir fry it. Add some salt and oil according to your taste/like. (Oil and salt can serve as preservative)

Let it cool down and transfer to a clean glass jar.
